ItsABirdNopeWe start the session with a foreboding glimpse a future where the party fights an epic boss battle against en elderly Roc, trying to protect it's last young! Then we skip the entire damn thing and go off on a tangent with a NPC that barely has a damn name! The adventure starts facing the terrifying Roc  But wait? How did we get here?  Ahhh, FOREBODING!!!!!  We pull back and bit and investigate how this all began, and we find we are here to meet up and gain three things, information on the Villa de Suul where the rumored treasure ship has apparently delivered it's trove, the keys to enter and finally, a rune breaker to by-pass the magic protecting the loot. A local called Cruchet (pronounced Crew-SHAY) holds the key to all this information, a trio called Barry, Joe and Surley, several who were dead. Note there is an entire subplot here with Barry and the poisoned beer in front of him and an OLD enemy sneaking about in the bushes who never even got his shoes on before everyone nicked off)  Well one out of three aint bad because the moment the part meets Barry, and one trick pony NPC with no bloody back story, they proceed to abandon the entire mission and decide that the rot coming from his mouth can be trusted and decide to kidnap the nobles that apparently are invited to visit the villa and bid on the various items the owner collects. So we wander off to a local island and capture a couple of Nobel s on their way (complete with nice cloths and some passes) Oh and a horse, that was a Umberhulk model because I was rushing to find icons for the rapidly diverging path the party was undertaking. So we now have a bipedal Riding "Mount"  (Some side jinx ensures with Cell finding some cutlery in the local bed, bath and beyond, Tony failing to convince anyone that Skysliccccer, the Ghost, was a Ghost. Skysliccccer, the CLEARLY A DAMN GHOST, spends much of the session face down after pissing off an elite cadre of guards on his own but avoids being looted because he's a ghost) And end up on a beach where we befriend the local ravengers and hire them to help hit the Villa  |
