FollowingTheMapWe start commiserating in a Shell inn since apparently the ship went down with the map on board While looking around Skyxs nose for gold sees a bunch of locals playing some sort of drinking game for large amounts of cash! Eager to get skin in the game, he joins up Turns out this is a spicy fruit eating game, were apparently the spiciness of the fruit goes up with the valid of coin. Determined to win, Styx decides to hide the fruit in his cheek pouches to avoid all the nasty eating part. This works well until he realizes the fruit almost kills a few of the players so ups the game by hiding a bag of holding in his mouth and using that. This mostly works but he accidentally cuts a small piece of the last fruit on a tooth (being the last rat standing) and goes into a terrible hypnotic fruit fueled psychosis and shoots up the bar (Lucking grabbing and stuffing the bulk of his winnings into his mouth while he can) Once the fun is all over, we discover Styx knows where the treasure is and we lead on to the Anchor Island (which the Captain and other long term crew apparently fear, but we don't ask about that so.... we go anyway)  After a longer than require attempt to navigate the waters the map indicates, the crew mostly ignore it and run the ship aground, LUCKILY close to the location of the treasure. Like all good explorers the slaughter the locals quickly and move on (Styx leading the way)  Of course, Styx leads the way and loots an important looking chest, bringing to life all the guardians around it. Luckily for him he manages to conceal himself in the darkness using a dancing routine called "dammit, where the hell is everyone else, I'll just hide behind this thing here" waltz The other arrive, there is some nasty combat, close calls, but the group succeeds in knowing old Captain Ragabous on his arse and loot all his stuff. Well.... SOMEONE looted all his stuff.... cheek pouches full, the group exits the cave to find a nasty surprise..... |
